Fuel constitutes the biggest single operating cost in shredding. Every drop of fuel saved translates into better profits for you.
Typically, different waste types – for example tyres, wood, plastics and MSW – are shredded with exactly the same process using a pre-shredder, screen and secondary shredder. This applies especially when a small particle size of 50 to 200 mm is needed.
TANA Shark allows you to get small, even-sized particles with only one machine and in one run. Fewer operating hours per ton means lower fuel costs!
Further savings can be made by fine-tuning the shredding process. Parameters that may be controlled are the engine power used, the number of counter knives, the size of rotor screens and the conveyor speed.

TANA Shark has a built-in set of sophisticated, yet easy-to-use information management tools: TANA ProTrack® and TANA Control System TCS help you to fine-tune the process for lower operating costs and higher profit.
